futurebabies 5 - "Messy Sessions"

@ The Mucky Duck, Brixton, London, England 9pm Saturday 1st September 2001

Oh, what a night!!! What a cracker it turned out to be…….after seeing England trounce the Germans
5-1 (still sounds brilliant) spirits were extremely high in anticipation of the next chapter of the futurebabies legacy.

Things started off at a steady pace with Little Lozza Willis at the controls playing a wonderful chugging warm up set. The boy did well and it could be said that he was over the moon with his first half performance. This set things up nicely for Lefty to take over and continue the flow with selection of house from both sides of the Atlantic and it was left to Juan Elbows to take the reigns.

Once again in true futurebabies style the place was rocking. After early worries of people been too leathered to make it down after the footy, the place was pleasantly busy and a good time was had by all of the revellers present. A couple of DJ substitutions later and the night was brought to a close with Juan dropping the sublime vocal mix of Octave Ones black water - lovely. Once again the night was a success and a memorable one so thanks a million to the people that come along.

See you all at futurebabies #6 "the Sven Sessions".

Nice one, RL Promotions
